The Madison Medical Practice Hornsby welcomes Dr Hannah Galvin to our medical team, as our new GP Synergy GP registrar for 2021. Hannah starts her consulting in February and will working Part-Time until August 2021. The Madison Medical Practice Drs are all passionate to educate our future GPs and we are delighted that Hannah has joined our team for this term.

Hannah worked as a Dietitian before realising her passion for holistic patient care is better suited to a career in medicine. She has extensive hospital experience including two years at St George Hospital working rotations in Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Palliative care, Gastroenterology and General surgery. She has since worked at Sydney Children’s Hospital, extending her skills in Paediatrics while completing a Diploma in Child health.

Hannah has a rural background, outside of work she lives an active lifestyle with frequent community engagement. She is a previous volunteer for Youth Off the Streets and Secondbite Nutrition.

Hannah has special interests in children’s health, women’s health, mental health, preventative care and health education.
