Dr Peter Huang studied Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in University in Melbourne and has had extensive hospital experience in general medicine, paediatrics, rehabilitation and mental health. Prior to this he was a registered optometrist and is familiar with treating common eye conditions. Peter believes in a holistic approach to medical care and pays extra attention to the psychosocial aspects of his patients' lives. His vast experience and medical qualifications set him apart as a highly competent GP in Balwyn.

Outside of medicine, Peter enjoys travelling with friends and challenging himself to multi-day hikes around the world. He is also a very good cook in Taiwanese delicacies.

Peter really enjoys the wide scope general practice offers and is happy to be of service for anything big or small.
