Dr Khilan Shukla completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Far North Queensland and was lucky enough to travel around the country working in Cairns, Townsville, and Tasmania, as well as completing international placements in Sri Lanka and Kenya. He has been a part of the team at Maven since moving to the Gold Coast in 2019. 

Dr Khilan enjoys taking the time to work with families to ensure they have an enjoyable and pain-free experience at the dentist. He loves helping patients to better understand the importance of dental health, and to create a comfortable environment for nervous patients. 

When he is not at the practice, you can find Khilan on a tennis court or spending time with family. He is also studying for a medical degree at Griffith University.
