About Tom
Tom has over ten years experience in various mental health roles. Tom works with people from all cultural backgrounds and has competent Mandarin speaking skills. Tom enjoys working with clients to improve their quality of life, by helping them: improve their mood, reduce anxiety, resolve trauma issues, deal with substance abuse and increase confidence and self-esteem. Consultations are available today - face to face or through phone or video.
Tom is experienced and knowledgeable in a range of different treatments. He draws upon skills and strategies from several approaches to tailor a treatment plan specifically for his clients' goals, needs and wants. Tom is passionate about sharing his scientific knowledge and uses it to empower his clients with clinically effective strategies and tools.
Tom is an excellent listener and takes the time to hear you and clearly understand your concerns. He takes a very client-centred approach to therapy - collaborating closely with you to develop a tailored treatment plan. His treatment is outcome focused making sure you get results and measuring your progress along the way.
Qualifications
Tom has been awarded a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and a Masters of Rehabilitation Counselling, both from the University of Sydney.
Registrations & Memberships
Tom is a registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
