Overview
Lauren graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Health Science and holds a Master of Physiotherapy. Lauren’s special interests are in the treatment of all musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries. Her goals are to help her patients overcome pain and injury and to guide them in their rehabilitation back to positive health. Her focus is on hands-on Physiotherapy with a personalised approach to care in addition to preventative exercises and strategies for long term results. Lauren provides a holistic patient-centred approach to treatment and can use an array of hands-on therapies that can assist you from soft tissue and muscle release, joint mobilisations, trigger point therapy and stretching techniques and many more.
Other areas of interest include treatment for back pain, headaches, neck pain, sciatica, posture correction, chronic pain, pregnancy, acute sprains, shoulder injuries, Achilles and calf injuries, knee, hip and groin injuries and other running injuries such as shin splints and associated biomechanics. Lauren has worked with the Pulteney Football Club players performing preventative and sports injury management taping over a number of years. She has also worked extensively with seniors with a focus on staying active, strong and as independent as possible.
Lauren enjoys staying fit and active by running and attending the gym frequently. She is a qualified swimming teacher of five years and she also has an interest in Pilates and rehabilitation. She is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
