Matthew joined Beaufort Physiotherapy in 2020. He has completed both a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science plus a Bachelor in Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Matthew has a keen interest in treating and rehabilitating sporting injuries, having travelled this path successfully with his own ACL reconstruction surgery. He also enjoys the treatment aspect of general musculoskeletal injuries and the associated rehabilitation to optimise patients’ independent management. Matthew is interested in a wide variety of sports, including Rugby and AFL and continues to surf and go to the gym, which has made him fit in to the team at Beaufort Physiotherapy fantastically. Matthew knows the importance of feeling well in everyday life, and understands the role that playing sport and exercising plays in this. He strives to help people back to their best function so that they can maximise their enjoyment of everyday living.
