Overview
Dr Ashish Arora is an experienced GP with a special interest in Dermatology, Occupational Medicine, Cosmetic Medicine and skillfully performs minor operations. He is well-known for his expertise in full-body skin checks and the management of skin cancers, especially in difficult areas like the nose, eyelids, face, ears and lower legs.
Dr Arora spent most of the time in the United Kingdom during his advanced training. He obtained a membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and a Diploma in Occupational Medicine (Dip Occ Med). He attained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRCOG), a Diploma in Dermatology (Dip Derm) and a Diploma in Therapeutics.
Ashish acquired certificates in Advanced Dermoscopy, Advanced Minor Operations and Cosmetic Procedures. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Trinity College Dublin in 1992. He holds a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) as well.
Over the years, Dr Arora worked extensively and gained experience in various medical specialties, including practise in the department of Oncology and Radiotherapy in Ireland. He worked in the departments of General Medicine, Anaesthetics and Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU), Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology while he was in the United Kingdom.
Ashish worked for 3 years as a GP Partner in the United Kingdom and for 3 years in a Children's Hospice. He spent 4 years working as a part-time Forensic Medical Examiner for South Wales Police. He provided his services for a year as a tutor and examiner for the Diploma in Dermatology at Cardiff University.
Dr Arora served for 5 years in the Royal Air Force as a Senior Medical Officer and was a Commissioned Officer with a rank of Squadron Leader. He was deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan and the Falkland Islands. He took part in the Aeromedical Evacuation of casualties and was part of the Incident Response Team (IRT) which was involved with the stabilisation, medical management and transport of casualties by helicopter in Iraq.
During the time in IRT, Ashish skillfully managed the injured patients in helicopters and received a commendation from the General Officer Commanding. He completed certificates in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Advanced Life Support during his service in the Royal Air Force.
Dr Arora’s vast experience and medical qualifications set him apart as a highly competent GP in Kiara. He commenced his practise in Australia in 2010 and worked in a rural community and semi-rural settings. He is a highly experienced doctor with an excellent professional acumen.

In addition to English, Ashish speaks Hindi fluently. He spends his spare time playing different sports and enjoys cooking as well.
