Dr Vandana Sasidharan is a full time General Practitioner here at Ormeau Family Practice. She commenced working as a General Practitioner in India after graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004.

Vandana relocated to the Gold Coast in 2009 and attained the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate after clearing the exams in 2011 and got general registration with AHPRA as well. She acquired a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from South Australia and began working in General Practice. She also obtained her fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

As a doctor in Ormeau, Dr Sasidharan aims to support patients to attain the best quality of life possible from diagnosis to recovery. She specialises in all facets of general practice and has a keen interest in Preventative Medicine, Women’s Health, Child and Adolescent Health.

Alongside English, Vandana is fluent in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi, which allows her to easily communicate with a diverse clientele.
