Dr Thomas van Wyngaard’s colleagues affectionately call him Tommie. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Pretoria in 1988. Prior to working in Adelaide, he worked for a decade in rural Australia. Over the years he served humanity with his expertise and benefited a large number of people in achieving their health goals.

He has extensive experience under his belt and is highly capable of managing a variety of cases. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1998. Additionally, he received advanced training in skin cancer management.

Dr Wyngaard is a renowned doctor in Parkside who specialises in Heart Disease, Men's Health, Rheumatology, Skin Cancer and Chronic Disease mainly Diabetes. His patients have described him as a very caring doctor who is also very competent and knowledgeable.

In addition to English, Dr Thomas van Wyngaard can speak African Languages, and he enjoys going fishing in his spare time.
