About Kirsten
Registered Psychologist/Behaviour Support Practitioner
Kirsten is a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s in Professional Psychology. She has worked extensively with clients struggling with anxiety and depression (as well as other mental health issues) since 2015 in different sectors including NDIS, Mental Health Hospitals and private practice.
Kirsten is skilled at a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. She is trained in Renee Mill’s anxiety treatment method.
Kirsten has a keen interest in working with children struggling with anxiety, emotion dysregulation, social skills difficulties, and autism. She is trained in The Secret Agent Society – an evidence-based program for children with social-emotional difficulties.
Kirsten adopts a client-centred, strength-based approach to help individuals at different stages of life reach their full potential. She has a warm, friendly, and down to earth approach. Having worked in South Africa, Singapore and Australia, Kirsten has a strong appreciation of diversity. She aims to build an authentic therapeutic environment with each client which facilitates change and growth.
