What are Matt’s goals as a practitioner?

Matt’s goal as a trainer, coach, Osteopath will always be to get as many people actively involved in their health as possible, within their individual capacity. His purpose as an Osteopath is to keep his patients functioning optimally so they can enjoy their chosen activities. He takes great pride in educating patients through their journey towards being self-guided and reliant.

What type of Osteopath is Matt?

Matt uses a variety of techniques with his patients and enjoys combining exercise prescription and education with hands-on osteopathic techniques such as; soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation, stretching, cupping and dry needling. His aim in every treatment is to help his patients perform better, not only on the sporting field, but also in their general activities of daily living. Education is hugely important to him, and if a patient can leave each treatment with a new skill or increased confidence in managing their own health and well-being, he feels like he’s done his job well.

What are Matt’s interests?

When he’s not working, you’ll find him training for my first triathlon in March 2020, playing social basketball with friends, or drinking coffee with a good book.
