Dr Mark is currently specialising in both General Practice and Medical Administration. He is a Medical Educator at the University of Notre Dame, School of Medicine, Sydney, and is currently undertaking the research component of his Master degree in Health Professional Education. He is also studying a Master of Health Management and International Public Health. Dr Mark has worked as a GP Registrar in the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney, and has a background as an after-hours doctor with the National Home Doctor Service. He has also worked across many hospitals in South-Western Sydney, as well as rural and remote Australia.

Dr Mark’s interests include Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, refugee health, mental health, sexual health, young adult medicine and paediatrics.

Dr Mark hails from Sydney, but has lived both interstate and overseas, including Japan, and speaks Japanese.
