Karen qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2001. Karen also completed a post-graduate specialisation in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy. Karen has always enjoyed improving her knowledge base and continually pushing herself to learn more through research and courses, especially from international lecturers, where possible. Karen’s goal is to empower her patients through individualised rehabilitation programmes and educate them to ensure optimal quality of life and function. Karen’s approach foucses on detailed assessments and analysis of posture and movement dysfunction. She adopts a practical, hands-on management plan including manual and manipulative therapy techniques, restoration of muscle imbalances, postural and movement correction, and strengthening with patient-specific exercise progressions. Karen is an extremely passionate physiotherapist, dedicated to the profession and to her patients as well as other team members she works with. Karen prides herself on providing patients with her utmost attention, listening to their concerns, and providing them with the best possible treatment plan following a comprehensive and thorough examination.
