Dr Sanjeewa Hewavitharana acquired his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Notre Dame in 2012. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019.

Dr Hewavitharana is a highly skilled doctor in Wantirna who aims to support patients to attain the best quality of life possible from diagnosis to recovery. His patients have described him as a very caring doctor who is also very competent and knowledgeable.
