Dr Rohit Rana graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He completed a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in the year 2000. He received his certification from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) in 2013.

As a doctor in Port Macquarie, Dr Rana aims to support patients to attain the best quality of life possible from diagnosis to recovery. He thoroughly examines the patients and carefully briefs them about options for their treatment. He has profound experience in all aspects of general medicine. He obtained his fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021.

Other than speaking English, Rohit can speak Urdu and Hindi with fluency.
