Dr Loretta Weir has more than 2 decades of experience as a GP. She is an accredited Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) as well. In 2002, she relocated to the gorgeous city of Tweed. She attained her MBBS from the University of Sydney, with 1st class honors, in 1994.

Prior to becoming a doctor, Loretta obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Macquarie University and was working with The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Sydney.

Dr Weir’s vast experience and medical qualifications set her apart as a highly competent GP in Kingscliff. She is passionately interested in Preventative Care and Chronic Disease Management (Internal Medicine). She also takes a keen interest in Aged Care and visits local Residential Aged Care Facilities (nursing homes) as well.
