Dr Emeto initially completed a degree in Biomedical sciences with a special interest in genetics before studying medicine at The University of Nottingham in the UK. She completed her internship in England before immigrating to Australia in 2009 where she gained further experience in emergency medicine, surgery and intensive care at The Townsville Hospital. She also spent some time working at The Cooktown Multi-Purpose Health Service and provided service to both Hope Vale and Wujal Wujal Primary Health Care Centres.

Dr Emeto started working in general practice in 2012 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She enjoys General Practice especially being privileged to be able to look after patients of all age groups and stages of life. She is particularly interested in Family Medicine, Health Care of the Elderly, Chronic/Complex Disease Management, Palliative Care and also enjoys Skin Cancer Medicine and has completed the Certificate of Dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and worked in a dedicated Skin clinic.

In her free time she loves to go for walks with her husband and 2 dogs, sew, read novels and has recently started to learn Auslan.
