Jess is a Clinical Psychologist who has worked with children, adolescents, adults and families since 2012 in a range of settings including acute illness and disability, child and adolescent mental health, and private practice. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Monash University and has published eight research articles examining ways to improve child and family wellbeing.
Jess uses a variety of therapeutic approaches in her work, depending on clients’ needs and goals, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and attachment-based approaches.
Jess has over six years’ experience facilitating Tuning in to Kids, an evidence-based parenting program that focuses on improving parent-child relationships. Tuning in to Kids provides a space for parents to connect around the challenges of parenting and learn new skills in emotion coaching.
In both her individual and group work, Jess encourages clients to apply new learnings and insights to their everyday life, facilitating growth and change.
