Dr Melissa Shum graduated with a Master of Dentistry and Bachelors of Health Sciences in Dentistry at La Trobe University in 2013.

After qualifying, Melissa spent a considerable amount of time servicing various local communities within rural Victoria, simultaneously amassing extensive clinical experience, insight and knowledge.

Her repertoire of skills as a 7 year long practicing dentist in Armadale ranges from preventive care to minimally invasive treatments and techniques.

Dr Shum is an ardent supporter of spreading awareness about the importance of oral health and it’s undeniable link with overall well being.

Aside from her passion for dentistry, Melissa is known for being an amatuer painter and lover of all things nature.
