Overview
Dr Fatima Saleem Farighi has been awarded Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Kabul Medical University in 1988.
Dr Fatima has worked in Afghanistan in various hospitals and primary care prior to moving to Australia. In Afghanistan, she worked in NOOR Eye Teaching Hospital Kabul, as a Resident Doctor and Assistant Lecturer for 5 years. She also worked in Ummahat-ul-Mominin Medical University Peshawar, Pakistan as Assistant Lecturer and Family Physician for 7 years where she was involved treating refugees and provided supervised training for medical students.
She has obtained AMC Graduate Certificate in 2013.
Dr Fatima loves his job and enjoys all aspects of general practice.
Her primary interests include refugee health, women's health and child health, Chronic medical conditions & ongoing care, Preventative Health & Weight loss
