Dr Nicole Williams graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2010. In 2013, she was recognised for her outstanding commitment to GPRA, her peers and general practice and received the “Above and Beyond Award” at the Breathing New Life into General Practice Conference.
Prior to entering general practice medicine, Nicole was medical editor for the ‘Going Places Prevocational Doctor’s Guide to General Practice. She completed her internship and residency years at Westmead Hospital, Sydney before commencing her GP training in Cairns.
For the last two years, Nicole has been working on Thursday Island and is a senior lecturer for fourth year medical students at James Cook University. She also holds a master’s degree in International Relations which diversifies her skills set.
Nicole is a mother to 3 years old twins. Outside of work, her interests include: photography, traveling and art.
