Dr Stephen Lo graduated from University of Wales (UK) as the medical school dux with MBBCh (Commendation) in 1983. Shortly after, he became a member of Royal College of Physicians of London after completing the MRCP (UK) examinations in 1986. Dr Lo then worked in both UK and Malaysia as a specialist physician, majoring in internal medicine and non-interventional cardiology for at least 20 years.

In 2007, he became a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). He then took up dermatology training and was awarded with Distinction the Diploma of Practical Dermatology of United Kingdom, Cardiff, in 2009. Following that he successfully attained the Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine from Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine. In 2015, he graduated as a Master of Medicine in Skin Cancers from the University of Queensland Australia.

Dr Lo became a Fellow of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia in 2017, after successfully completing further advanced training and assessments. He now specializes in the Dermoscopic diagnosis and surgical treatment of skin cancers.

Dr Lo's consultation fees from 1st June 2018 will be $100.00 weekdays, $70.00 for pension card holders. Saturday mornings $120.00. no pension discounts on a Saturday. A rebate of $37.60 can be claimed from Medicare.
