Dr Michelle Wellington has worked in general practice at Victoria Harbour Medical Centre for over 10 years. Prior to this she worked in hospital roles in both urban and regional areas.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice but is passionate about Women’s Health, Sexual Health, Shared Maternity Care, Child Health, Travel Medicine and caring for patients from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.

Michelle is also accredited to insert and remove Mirena IUD®, Copper IUD and implanon® and also is happy to perform minor surgical procedures.

Michelle is a member of the Australian Menopause Association and loves looking after women at this stage of their lives.

Outside of work Michelle loves spending time with her children and riding her bike.
