Overview
Dr David Warburton graduated MBBS in 1975 from Melbourne University. He underwent resident and registrar training firstly at St. Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and then at The Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital. Dr Warburton gained the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 1982 in the specialty of General Medicine. He then worked full time in medical administration at The Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital where he also became involved in the clinical education of medical students. Dr Warburton gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (FRACMA) in 1991. Dr Warburton has worked in the private emergency department of The Valley Private Hospital in Mulgrave in Melbourne for the last seventeen years. He has maintained his strong interest in General Medicine over the years and acquired experience in the field of Geriatric Medicine in later years. Dr Warburton has lived in the Yarra Valley for the past twenty years. Dr Warburton likes to continue his reading in the area of clinical medicine, peruse historical and scientific literature, enjoy family life and travel with his wife.
