Dr Len Henson studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

This was followed by 3 years of orthopaedic surgery, and then obstetrics, general surgery and anaesthetics in rural hospitals. He immigrated to Western Australia where he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is co-principal at Ocean Reef Medical Centre and also works at Bariatric Medicine Integrated, a specialist weight loss clinic in Joondalup. He is also an examiner for the RACGP and an accredited WAGPET educator. His special interests include gastric band surgery, men’s health and lifestyle medicine.

Dr Henson works mainly at Ocean Reef Medical Centre and BMI Joondalup
