Having qualified as a doctor in London in 1994, Dr Yull spent the next seven

years training to be an Anaesthetist/Chronic Pain Consultant. However, after his
daughter was born he decided to switch to General Practice.

He was a GP principal for 10 years in East Anglia in the UK before deciding to
move to Adelaide.

Derek is a bulk billing GP who has been working in the northern suburbs for three years and is
thoroughly enjoying it. Special interests are diabetes and chronic pain. Outside
of medicine he is a secret plane spotter and a big fan of cricket.
