Dr Marilou Capati obtained her Bachelor of Science majoring in Medical Technology and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the Manila Central University, Philippines, in 1991. After completing her internal medicine residency, she proceeded with training as an adult cardiologist and initiated the formal practice. After completing her fellowship exams in 2010, she started working as a general practitioner.

As a GP in Casuarina, Dr Capati is recognised for her proficiency in women’s health, cardiac diseases, and cardiology. To polish her skills further, she is also an accredited Hepatitis B S100 prescriber.

Marilou is respected as a Casuarina doctor for her comprehensive care and unrivaled competence. Her fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) keeps her updated with the latest developments. She is also notably passionate about the health of the CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) community.
