Dr Foong completed his undergraduate dental degree at the University of Melbourne (2004) and subsequently worked as a general practitioner at BOH Dental for four years. In 2009, Jamie returned to Melbourne and completed a specialist degree in Prosthodontics (2009-2011), which lead to work in a specialist private practice in Melbourne from 2010. Recently, Jamie has returned to Brisbane to continue his career at BOH Dental, and we are glad to have him back.

Professional Memberships & Continuing Education

Jamie has a keen interest in implant technology and ceramics. As part of his thesis for his doctorate, he investigated the mechanical properties of zirconia and titanium implant abutments. Jamie is involved in teaching at several Australian dental schools as a visiting lecturer and clinical supervisor.

Jamie is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Prosthodontic Society, the Academy of Australian and New Zealand of Prosthodontists, and the Australasian Osseointegration Society.
