Graduated from the Free University, Berlin, West Germany in 1980. Worked in a big general hospital in West Berlin in Radiology and General Medicine. Passed the German Specialist Physicians exam in 1989. Moved to Australia in 1992 and had to re-sit the medical exams. Special interests are all aspects of Women’s Health, including antenatal and postnatal care, weight management, paediatrics, general medicine and aged care. Speaks German and a little French. She enjoys reading, cinema, theatre (anything ‘cultural’ really), gardening and walking.
