Dr Michael Lum MBBS, DipRACOG graduated from Monash University in 1983 and has been a General Practitioner for over 22 years and enjoys the full breadth of general practice. Special interests include student health, sports injuries, and travel medicine. Additionally he has expertise in Q fever testing and immunisation. He acquired a Diploma of Obstetrics in 1987 after working at Royal Women's Hospital.
Michael worked for 12 years at Student Health Services at University of Melbourne, Monash University and La Trobe University. He maintains a strong interest in the health needs of tertiary students, staff and especially overseas students.
With over 10 years of clinical practice in various Melbourne hospital emergency departments and also night doctor at Peter MacCallum cancer hospital Michael has a wide and diverse experience of general practice.
