Dr Sara Safari has joined Warrandyte Road Clinic in March 2023. She has a special interest in women’s health, breast cancer screening, gastrointestinal problems, sport medicine and musculoskeletal pain and injuries, although she enjoys all aspects of medicine.

Sara worked for many years as a surgical registrar, with extensive experience in breast, endocrine, gastrointestinal and general surgery. In addition to being a general practitioner, Sara is an experienced sports and musculoskeletal physician with a Masters of Sports Medicine from the University of Queensland and a post-graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy. She regularly assists in orthopaedic surgical procedures at various hospitals around Melbourne
