Biography: Leena graduated from Monash University (VIC) in 2012. She initially trained in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health, whilst researching hip reconstructive options for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.

She evolved into General Practice after realising her passion to integrate medicine with community, and provide holistic care using western & eastern philosophies. She is interested in promoting well-being through preventative care against chronic disease, lifestyle & nutrition, in addition to breathwork & meditation for anxiety and depression.

She is still using her surgical skills to benefit patients with musculoskeletal conditions, and is performing ultrasound guided corticosteroid & platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections with specialist input. She also provides skin cancer treatment and administers clinical / cosmetic botox (dysport).

Leena is a yoga teacher, and shares her knowledge of anatomy for yoga teacher trainings. She enjoys surfing & hiking, and is learning the science of Ayurveda.
