Dr Jane Collins is a graduate of the University of Queensland (MBBS 1989), and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Gneral Practitioners. In a career spanning over 30 years, she has worked as a military medical officer(including overseas deployments), in humanatarian roles, in rural general practice on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, and in busy urban medical centres. Her special practice interests include mental health ( she is currently completing a Masters in Councelling through Torrens University),all aspects of women's health including antenatal care, paediatrics(child health), and nutrition and wellness, and she is very active in supporting military veterans. She holds a Diploma in Child Health(University of Sydney) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Nutritional Medicine(Swinburne University). Jane's clinical focus is to ensure the best outcomes for her patients through active listening and helping create together positive physical and mental health planning.
