Dr Mariam Abbass obtained her Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Deakin University in 2013. Before starting her GP training, she worked for several years on the Mornington Peninsula. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) as well.

As a doctor in Narre Warren North, Dr Abbass provides an individualised treatment plan, attention to detail and meticulous approach when delivering the treatment. She is keenly interested in Family Medicine and Mental Health. She is well-known for her expertise in performing minor skin procedures for lesions.

Mariam speaks Dari and Persian in addition to English.
