Lara completed her undergraduate qualifications at Edith Cowan University and postgraduate qualifications at Murdoch University. In addition, Lara has completed postgraduate study in counseling and forensic sexology focused on sexual trauma and offending.
Lara has over 15 years in clinical settings across health & therapeutic roles in several non-profit organisations. She began her professional career working with offenders in a therapeutic community and has since extended to general counselling, working young people and adolescents at headspace, supporting children after separation at Anglicare WA, and in several management roles including clinical governance.
Lara has a special interest in domestic violence, suicidality, self-harm, sexuality, depression and anxiety.
