Overview

Dr Fara Wilson is from Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She is passionate about Women’s and Children’s health and is focused on providing compassionate, quality care to your family.

Dr Wilson trained at the University of Dundee and graduated in 2004.  She worked in house jobs in Aberdeen and thereafter spent a couple of years in Brisbane prior to her GP training in Glasgow which she completed in 2012. With an interest in women’s health in mind, she attained the Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2015.

Dr Wilson moved to Australia in late 2015 and was awarded FRACGP in 2016. She is a Mater Mothers aligned General Practitioner. Her experience includes her work as a General Practitioner in Aberdeen for 3 years and a further 5 years working in Springwood as a General Practitioner.

She is also interested in refugee health and works at the Mater Refugee Complex Care Clinic.
