Dr Karen Freilich completed her MBBS from Monash University in 2016. Since graduating, Dr Freilich has worked across Austin Health, Northern Health, and Monash Health in a wide range of specialties including medicine, emergency medicine and paediatrics. She has also completed a Diploma of Obstetrics (DRANZCOG) whilst working at the Mercy Hospital for Women in 2019. 

Dr Freilich's keen interest in sexual and reproductive health has led her to complete a BMedSc (Hons) in the field of contraception, as well as move to London to undertake a Masters of Reproductive and Sexual Health Research (MScRSHR) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). 

Further, Dr Freilich is passionate about creative and engaging medical education, and hosts one of Australia's most popular medical education podcasts, 'Humerus Hacks'. 

Karen is a warm and empathetic doctor focused on holistic patient care.
