Dr Chen received her MD from The University of Sydney and is currently working as a PGY2 at Nepean Hospital. She completed her core rotations in medicine (geriatrics, rehabilitation), surgery (plastics, neurosurgery, as well as to complete general surgery as a final term), emergency mediine and paediatrics. She had a PGY2 rotation in community medicine last year which included working in a sexual health clinic, a primary care clinic (whose client base were people who inject drugs with a focus on hepatitis C prevention program), and also the Nepean Public Health Unit during COVID pandemic.During her time at Nepean Hospital she participated in formal teaching and presented several patient cases. She is also exploring an interest in research and is currently undertaking an audit within the paediatrics department, as well as writing a paediatric patient case study, which she hope to be able to submit for publication with AJGP.

She has interests in many facets of medicine, such as women’s health, dermatology and minor surgical procedures. She also wishes to expand her knowledge of paediatrics and geriatric comorbidity management. She also enjoys mental health.
