About Malcolm

Malcolm Evans – Registered Psychologist

Malcolm is a versatile and dynamic therapist whose approach is grounded in humour, compassion and genuineness. He understands that the idea of therapy can stir up all kinds of thoughts (worries) and feelings and seeks to help clients overcome this through his down to earth and personable style.

Malcolm’s approach to therapy is based on one central idea … the whole point of seeing a psychologist is for things to change. Changes that are for the better and changes that last. In reality this is much easier said than done, but this is just a fact and not an obstacle. Malcolm works to build and nurture each client’s confidence in themselves and their ability to achieve their therapeutic goals.

Malcolm will introduce you to new ideas and perspectives about yourself, relationships and life and will actively challenge what you think, believe and hold to be true. His experience includes working with all client groups – families, couples, individuals, adolescents and children.

Malcolm has also recently completed training in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).
