Dr Malavika graduated from James Cook University Townsville in 2008.

She has spent extensive time studying the field of ear, nose and throat pathology prior to achieving her General Practice Fellowship in 2015.

Dr Malavika has a keen interest in immunology and allergy, in particular, the management of food allergies and eczema and devotes her clinical time exclusively to this. 

She is also a member of the Royal Society of Public Health and is pursuing her Masters in Public Health.
