Brock is a General Practice registrar, having recently returned to Adelaide after a year in the UK. In 2012, he graduated from Flinders University and subsequently completed internship and residency at Flinders Medical Centre (FMC). Brock worked in Townsville from 2015-2018 where he worked as a GP and Occupational Medicine trainee. He has commenced post-graduate studies in Aviation medicine and Aeromedical retrievals, as well as completed post-graduate training in Occupational Medicine.

He has an an interest in aviation, travel and emergency medicine as well as primary health care.

Brock is married and has three children. Outside of medicine, he has a particular interest in youth development, having worked with indigenous leadership groups, youth at risk programs and Army cadets.
