Dr Imran Ali MBBS (Hons), FRACGP 

Dr Imran Ali completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2013 at Monash University. In 2018 he attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General. 

Dr Ali’s medical career began in 2014 as an intern at Western Health where his rotations included Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Respiratory Medicine, General Medicine and Emergency Medicine. In 2015 he continued working at Western Health as Hospital Medical Officer in rotations that included Speciality Medicine, Paediatric Emergency, Critical Care (Emergency Medicine and Anaesthetics), Aged Care and Speciality Medicine Night Cover. 

In 2016 Dr Ali began work as a GP Registrar at Metro West Murray City Country Coast. Since 2018 he has been working as a GP consultant where his responsibilities include providing care to a broad range of patients in general practice presenting with common general practice issues including complex chronic disease management, aged care, paediatric medicine and supervision of junior medical personnel. 

He has a particular interest in chronic disease management particularly diabetes as well as medical education. 

Dr Ali has attained a number of awards including the 2009 Golden Key International Honour Society (JCU), the 2013 Award for excellent performance in Emergency Medicine (Monash Health).
