Dr Guo Ping “Erica” Hu

Dr Erica Hu graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in China in 1999. She worked in ophthalmology, endocrinology, cardiology and neurology departments prior to her migration to Australia in 2004.

Erica is a warm and caring rural trained GP who has relocated back to Melbourne in 2017. She worked as a hospital medical officer at Eastern Health in Melbourne for three years including one year experience in Emergency before she moved to Kyabram, in where she worked at the Kyabram regional clinic and was also a visiting medical officer to the local hospital/Emergency and nursing home. Erica has completed a Diploma in Child Health through the Children’s Hospital at Westmead in 2016.

Erica enjoys all aspects of general practice, taking holistic approach to care and preventative health.

Her special clinical interests include chronic disease management, aged care, weight loss, women’s health and children’s health.

Outside of work she enjoys gardening and spending good quality time with her 3 kids.
