Dr Hiran Edirisinghe graduated from University of Queensland in 1998, and joined general practice in 2006 after working in the field of emergency medicine attached to a number of tertiary hospitals in Melbourne.
Since then Dr Hiran has obtained Master of Medicine (MMED), post-graduate diplomas in practical dermatology (DPD) and Pediatrics (DCH). Dr Hiran holds an academic position as a senior lecturer, and is a member of examination panels for RACGP and Faculty of Medicine, University of Queensland. His main clinical interest is management of chronic and complex medical conditions such as diabetes (including initiation Insulin), heart disease and bone diseases.
He is also interested in men’s health, psychiatry, gynaecology, skin cancers and various procedures including excisions, flaps, grafts and wedge resections for ingrown toe nails.
