Dr Jane Shanahan is an Adelaide GP consulting from our Henley Beach Medical Centre with special interests in dermatology, women's health and travel medicine.

Dr Jane Shanahan completed her medical training at Flinders University in 1992, and after 2 years in surgical training at RAH, moved to Queensland and undertook her Fellowship for RACGP in 1997. Jane has worked in general practice in rural Queensland (Stanthorpe), Sydney and Melbourne, with special interests in dermatology, women’s health and travel medicine.

Jane also is extensively trained in medical aesthetics and is a  medical educator for Allergan in  Australia and New Zealand.

Outside of general practice, Jane enjoys anything that is by the beach with her 2 children whether that be running, SUP, surfing and swimming. She has been a junior coordinator with the nipper program at Henley Surf Club.
