Dr Jenny Hellsing spent her early years in the Canberra region before moving to Sydney for University studies. She enjoyed living in Europe for a few years before returning to Australia to study graduate-entry medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating in 2012. Her early hospital training was completed in the rural NSW town of Orange. After several years of hospital-based work in NSW, ACT, NT and VIC, she is undertaking her Fellowship in General Practice. She will be at our practice until February 2021.Dr Jenny can provide you with quality care for acute and chronic conditions covering all areas of general practice, with a particular interest in paediatrics and sexual health medicine. She is accredited to insert and remove the Implanon NXT contraceptive device, provide comprehensive STI screening and treatment, and prescribe and monitor PrEP.Outside work, Jenny is a lover of houseplants, baking and furniture restoration. She enjoys camping, hiking, Pilates and the outdoors and has recently taken up indoor rock climbing.
