Dr. James Keys graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008 and upon graduating was offered a position with one of his clinical professors in the affluent suburb of Indooroopilly in Brisbane.

James has a keen interest in cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry, and is now further along his path to mastering orthodontic dentistry with the Progressive Orthodontic Systems Program. James is passionate about keeping himself up-to-date so that he can continue to deliver great-looking smiles to his valued patients. James has amplified his orthodontic knowledge base with certification to provide clear aligners, allowing him to provide both children and adults with sought-after invisible braces, and is continuing his studies with POS orthodontics for fixed braces.

Over the past year James has also expanded his clinical skills to place implants, and has a keen interest in minor oral surgery.  After 11 years of post-graduate dentistry, James is confident and prefers to keep appointments anxiety-free in a relaxed atmosphere. If your smile has been affected by soft drinks or irregular dental visits, James also has the experience in rebuilding smiles that have been damaged by wear or neglect.

Outside of dentistry, James enjoys kite surfing, wakeboarding, surfing and watching football. He also enjoys learning new languages. After a couple of years working abroad in Shanghai, he is now able to speak conversational Mandarin.
