Dr James McCray brings a vast experience to his General Practice.  The first baby he delivered is now 42 years old.  He initially graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy underlining a life long interest in orthopaedic sports injuries and back problems. 
 
Subsequently, he spent five years at the Mater Adult and Children's Hospital working in General Paediatrics and General Medicine.  From there he spent a further two years at Gympie Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer and subsequently entered the Rural Doctors Training Scheme working as relieving Flying Doctor and obtaining a training Post Graduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. 
 
His main focus of Practice these days falls on Geriatric Medicine and the care of the elderly for which he has a special interest.  He welcomes new patients and hopes to develop a long term therapeutic relationship with them.
