Dr Redhuan Akram graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical school in 2011. He spent several years working in hospitals in South Australia and Tropical North Queensland gaining experience in various specialties including emergency medicine, aged care, mental health, anaesthetics, surgery and general medicine.
He has also successfully completed the Australian General Practice Training Program in Victoria and obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
As a self-confessed travel junkie and plane-nerd, he has a keen interest in Travel Medicine. In addition, he has obtained the Australian Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine for appointment as a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME) for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) in Australia.
