John relocated to Noosaville in 2015 after 20+ years as a GP partner in West Coast Scotland; with a portfolio that included senior NHS management, occupational health and work as a Speciality Doctor in Dermatology. He now splits his time between Noosaville and serves as a Reserve Medical Officer in the Royal Australian Navy. He is an accredited GP supervisor, with interests beyond family medicine in minor surgery (including "Implanon" insertion), dermatoloy, and the Choosing Wisely campaign. He is qualifed in both aviation and underwater medicine.
